Human Bed Warmers!

Bed Warmers
I have one of those stories that will warm the cockles
of your heart. You ready? Now how do
you guys feel about human bed warmers?
Well, I guess the Brits are ahead of us on this one because in at 3
select English Holiday Inns on a trial basis you can request, if you want, for
someone dressed in an all-in-one fleece sleeper suit to get into your bed and
body heat it up for you. The suits come equipped with a built in thermometer so
the human bed warmer knows when your bed is at perfect toasty temperature for
your piggly wigglies. Doesn’t that
sound sort of appealing? Certainly
beats the daylights out of a hot water bottle.
Now I guess, my producer Vince, thinks this concept is kind of
creepy. Having some strange person in
your bed just before you get in. But
I’m not so sure. I mean, they’re in a
one-piece and their hair is covered….and having faith that these people are
morally sound and won’t try anything, what’s so bad about it? I know I would like to live in a world where
we can trust people enough to warm our beds for us out night. Wouldn’t that be nice!
